We are pleased to confirm that planning has been successfully granted for the change of use of the property from a single family dwelling to a small HMO for five occupants. This approval represents a significant step forward in the repurposing of the property to better serve the needs of shared housing in the area, while maintaining compliance with all relevant planning regulations and housing standards.

Throughout the application process, we continuously corresponded with Haringey Council to ensure that the approval aligned with the local planning policy. Our communications with the council addressed key issues such as adequate living space, amenity standards, fire safety measures, bin and cycle storage and the overall impact of the area. We submitted detailed plans and supporting documentation to demonstrate that the property could comfortably accommodate five people without resulting  over-infestation or harm to neighbouring residential amenities.

The council was satisfied that the internal layout met the required standards for a small HMO. As a result, formal approval was issued, confirming that the conversion from a C3 single dwelling to a C4 five-bedroom HMO complies with the planning framework and contributes positively to the local housing mix.

This outcome follows a transparent and responsive process with the planning authority, and we remain committed to delivering a high-quality living environment that meets all legal, safety, and community requirements.
