We’re delighted to announce another planning appeal success. Our team has successful overturned the council’s refusal of an application to install an extractor fan and flue to the rear elevation of a property

By working closely with the Planning Inspectorate, we were able to demonstrate that the proposal was both necessary and sensitively designed. We highlighted how the extractor fan was essential for the safe and effective use of the property, while ensuring the flue was positioned discreetly to minimise any impact on neighbours or the character of the area

The Inspectorate agreed with our case, confirming that the development would not cause harm to residential amenity or the local setting. This positive decision allows our client to move forward with their plans, providing a practical solution that also meets planning requirements

This result is a great example of how constructive dialogue and a clear, evidence based approach can turn a refusal into an approval. It reinforces our track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients, even in challenging circumstances
