We are delighted to announce that Hackney Council has formally approved the discharge of Conditions 3 (Flood Resilient Measures) and 4 (drainage) of planning permission reference 2025/0168, granted on 10/04/25. In preparing this submission, we worked closely with the Council’s officers to ensure the measures are fully compliant
In close dialogue with the council, we submitted full technical details for both conditions. For Condition 3, our proposals included an enhanced Drainage report which included all the measures required for the property to be flood resilient, which included finished floor levels, materials and construction techniques designed to safeguard the development

For Condition 4, we provided a comprehensive drainage strategy supported by a detailed drawing. This incorporated sustainable drainage principles, including the installation of a water butt to capture and reuse rainwater. This feature not only reduces surface water runoff but also promotes a practical, eco conscious addition that the council welcomed

The council confirmed that our submissions satisfactorily addressed both conditions, reflecting both the technical robustness of our proposals and our proactive approach to working with the authority
From a commercial perspective, the discharge of these conditions adds value for future buyers and investors. By integrating sustainable measures such as flood resilience and rainwater harvesting, the development is future proofed against climate challenges while delivering clear environmental benefits
