We recently undertook a successful application for an LDC in the London Borough of Haringey, ensuring our client’s development complied with planning regulations. This process involved a detailed and structured approach, combining planning expertise, technical documentation, and effective communication with the local planning authority.
Our first step was to carry out a thorough assessment of the proposed works against the general permitted development order. We reviewed the planning history of the property, verified compliance with all relevant limitations and conditions, and established that the development falls within the permitted development rights. This was particularly important in Haringey, where many properties are within conservation areas or Article 4 Direction Zones that restrict certain types of development.

We then prepared the submission for Haringey Council, including Architectural drawings, planning statements, and supporting evidence. Our team worked closely with the client to ensure all submitted forms were completed accurately and comprehensively.
Throughout the process, we maintained proactive engagement with the planning officers at Haringey Council to address any queries and ensure the application progressed smoothly. Our experience with similar applications within the borough meant we were able to anticipate potential issues and mitigate them effectively before they became obstacles.
Ultimately, the Certificate was granted without delay, confirming the lawfulness of the development and providing our client with peace of mind, as well as enhancing the future value of the property.
